Heavy workload in hospitals can be a major problem to nurses undergoing stress therefore reducing staffing workload can be a great contributor in reducing nurses’ level of stress.

- Heavy workload has increased nurses stress which in return has reduced their level of performance of nurses daily duties. Therefore supporting nurses in reducing their workload by sharing work demands among colleagues can help in minimizing the level of stress encountered, improve patient satisfactory and patient safety.

- When nurses workload are reduced it will increase nurses level of time spent communicating with patients, collaborating with other multidisciplinary involved with patients, increase staff morale to work, job performance, patient quality of care, reduce any mistakes for patients safety and most importantly reduce the number of sick days.
